Setting Smart Goals.

Talofa Lava, today for literacy we had to set our Smart Goals! We had to pick a Goal that we wanted to accomplish by the end of week 5 this term , and write down how we are going to achieve it. My Smart Goal for this term is being able to throw a dart at a bullseye. I will try to accomplish this challenge by practicing every week!

Sharing others photo challenge.

Task description: Yesterday for our cyber smart challenge, we did one of the tasks and it is called Sharing others photo challenge. We had to take a photo of ourselves, a photo with our teacher, a photo with a friend and a photo with a “famous mate”. This is my work so if you want you can check it out.

Geometry Garden.

Task description: This week for maths class we are learning about geometry like Tessellation , Rotational Symmetry and reflective symmetry. I enjoyed doing this maths task this week because i learnt what tessellation is with my class.

We are describing the different parts of our garden and what geometry features they show.
What type of symmetry do your flowers have?
In my garden my flowers have reflective  Symmetry and Rotational Symmetry.
This means that I can rotate the flower and I can cut the flower and both of them will still look the same.
What type of symmetry does your butterfly have?
In my garden my butterfly has reflective symmetry.
This means that I can cut the butterfly in half and both of the pieces would look the same.
Pathway
What geometry feature does your pathway show?
What did you do to make sure the pathway?
In my garden my pathway shows tessellation.
To make my pathway I have to cover the whole page with these shapes.
This means that if you cover the whole page with the same shapes it would be tessellation.
