Kia ora, today for maths, room one did a maths task called, ordering fractions. We had to order the fractions and order them from smallest to largest. For the last slide we had to put the fractions together and figure out what one was the biggest and if they were the same then we had to put =.

Task desc: Malo e Lelei everyone, today for maths me , Qweenie, Sapphire and Moimoi did Mulitiplaction with Mr Moran. Mr Moran gave us all a question to solve and the question I got given was 24×12. I first split the 12 into 10 and 2. I then did 24×10 and 24×2 and they both equal 240 and 48. The last step I did was add them together and they added up to 288. Task description: Today for maths we did a task on our class site called “Simplifying expressions worksheet”. This was an algebra task and i enjoyed doing this with my friend , Kura. I learnt a lot today and yesterday. Make sure to a positive comment on my blog:)
WALT: Today after lunch time we watched a video about how food affects our mood. After that we answered the questions on the slides. One of the questions was “What food do you crave when your hungry” and i picked Kfc or sushi. I enjoyed doing this task with my table group because i know their favourite foods now. 🙂
WALT: Today in my literacy class (room 4) we learnt about Personification. Personification is when you make an object or an idea do something only a human can do. I enjoyed doing this task because i learnt what personification means with my literacy table group.
WALT: Today for inquiry after lunch time, we did a slide task about obesity. We learnt what obese means from watching a video that was on this slide task. If you don’t know what obese means, obese means that you have an unhealthy diet and you are overweight. This is my task.
